Building Relationships competency : being skilled at detecting and interpreting subtle clues, often nonverbal, about others’ feelings and concerns. People with this competency display empathy and sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others and support others when they are facing difficult tasks. When you have this competency, you enjoy dealing with people and working with people of diverse styles and backgrounds.
